My name is Thomas Treanor (Tommy).
My birth parents are Wati Tira and Bessina Kopahi Sutherland.
I was fostered by Rangipuhi Te Hore and Tingi Elizabeth Plumridge.
There are 11 brothers and sisters in the Treanor whanau and 11 whangai'd.
I lived at Paranui on the Whanganui River where the only access was by jetboat otherwise it was a 3 days walk through the Mangatiti Track to Ruatiti to get there.
I have 6 children and of those, 2 were whangai'd by my sister and brother-inlaw.
I also have 13 mokos and 11 mokomokos.
I have worked hard all my life farming and have now retired.
I still love fishing and was once a hunter and and also dived for Kaimoana.
I have been a board member with Te Puke Karanga Hauora for approx 2 years and am still learning a great number of things.
Kia Ora.
